Preparing for Your Regulation Thermography Appointment
FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS, PREFERABLY 36 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT OBSERVE THE
FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:
● Please stop ALL homeopathic remedies, herbals and supplements.
● If you will be on day 1 or 2 of your period, please reschedule your appointment.
● Please stop using any essential oils—including diffusing them.
● Continue taking prescription medications and bioidentical hormones.
● No alcohol 24 hours prior to appointment.
● Do not have regulative therapy such as acupuncture, bio-energetic treatments, electro-neural
● diagnosis, chiropractic adjustments, massage or give or receive any type of energy work.
● Please reschedule your appointment if you have a fever, or severe congestion and coughing.
● No CT scan, MRI or X-ray for at least 3 days prior.
● No dental work for 3 weeks, or cleaning within 3 days.
● If you are having a heavy metal test, please bring your blood type with you when you come (ask your doctor). If you do not know it we can administer a rapid blood typing test.
(The cost of the kit is $15)
Please arrive 20 min early for this test.
ON THE DAY OF YOUR EXAMINATION – BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:
● You may have a light meal up to two hours before your appointment. Keep the temperature of food
moderate.
● Hydrate yourself with at least 16 oz. of room temperature water.
● Please do not brush teeth and hair or wear deodorant. You can brush your tongue and rinse with
lukewarm water.
● No smoking, coffee, black tea or any type of caffeine the day of your appointment.
● No extremely hot or cold drinks (room temp. water okay)
● No showers the morning of the testing. You can shower the night before
● No cosmetics or body lotions with the exception of mascara and lipstick
● No exercise of any type, no yoga, no sauna, and no meditation
● Men – do not shave. If you have a beard or mustache, trim around mouth and jaw areas as much as
possible
FOR THE THERMOGRAPHY PROCEDURE:
● Please arrive wearing socks, underwear, long loose fitting pants and a front opening shirt or blouse to cover your arms and legs for your evaluation. The sleeves should be loose enough to easily pull up to your elbows. A full-length skirt is okay.
● Make sure that none of your clothing is tight (reddened places will affect the measurement)
● Women should NOT wear a bra; or remove it 30 minutes prior to your measurement.
● At the end of the first set of measurements you will be asked to remove outer clothing, and remain
standing in your underwear for a 10 minute “cooling phase”. A second set of temperature
measurements will follow in the identical sequence as the first.
48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
● When your appointment is scheduled, prepayment is required.
● If cancelled within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment or you are a no show, you will forfeit the
$450 prepayment.
● If you reschedule or cancel more than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, your $450 will be applied to a rescheduled appointment or reimbursed for a cancelled appointment.
● We also offer a brief complimentary post-appointment phone consultation with your practitioner in
order to help you comprehensively understand the results of your thermogram.
FOR SATURDAY AND 7AM WEEKDAY APPOINTMENTS:
The Spring Valley Center building is closed before 7am on Weekdays and every Saturday.
Here is how to access the building before 7am on Weekdays and Saturdays.
● Follow directions and park in the back of the Spring Valley Center building. (You will not be entering any gated area in the parking garage).
● Feel free to park in any Reserved Parking Spaces marked 43, 42 or 41 or any spaces that are open for visitors/vendors for 7AM appointments only during the week; and all spaces available including Reserved 43, 42, 41 on Saturday only.
● This location entrance is at the lowest level and the glass entrance will take you directly to our clinic. We are in LL Suite 40.
● Proceed to the glass entrance and pick up the phone on the right hand side. The phone will automatically ring and security will answer. Tell them you have an appointment at the Thermography Center and the password is Charlie. They will open the door to let you enter.
